FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about our biomedical equipment software, OEM service licenses, activation keys and remote technical support for ultrasound, CT, MRI and patient monitoring systems from GE, Philips, Siemens, Samsung, Mindray, Toshiba and Agfa.

What services does BME Service provide for biomedical equipment?

BME Service specialises in software and licensing support for medical imaging and diagnostic equipment. We supply service licenses, activation keys, option enablement and diagnostic software for ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray, mammography and patient monitoring systems from manufacturers including GE Healthcare, Philips, Siemens Healthineers, Samsung Medison, Mindray, Toshiba/Canon, Esaote and Agfa. Our team also delivers remote technical assistance, error-code diagnosis and guidance on calibration and preventive maintenance workflows so that biomedical engineers and hospital service departments can restore equipment uptime quickly.

Which manufacturers and modalities do you support?

We cover the major medical imaging manufacturers and the modalities most commonly used in hospitals and diagnostic centres. This includes GE Healthcare ultrasound and CT platforms, Philips ultrasound and monitoring, Siemens Healthineers imaging systems, Samsung Medison ultrasound, Mindray ultrasound and patient monitors, Toshiba/Canon CT and ultrasound, Esaote ultrasound and Agfa radiography. If your specific model is not listed on our site, contact our team with the system model and software version and we will confirm availability before you place any order.

How do I order a service license or activation key?

Send us the exact system model, serial number, current software version and the specific option or license you need. Our engineers verify compatibility against the platform requirements, then confirm availability, price and delivery time. After confirmation, delivery is handled electronically in most cases, and our team provides step-by-step installation guidance. Because every activation is tied to specific hardware identifiers, providing accurate system details at the start prevents delays and ensures the license works on the first attempt.

How long does delivery and activation take?

Most standard software licenses and activation keys are prepared within 24 to 72 hours of order confirmation, depending on the manufacturer and the specific option requested. More complex option packages or systems requiring additional verification may take longer, and we always communicate an estimated timeline before you commit. Once delivered, activation typically takes 15 to 60 minutes on site, and our engineers remain available by WhatsApp or email throughout the installation process.

Do you provide remote technical support and troubleshooting?

Yes. Our engineers provide remote diagnostic support for error codes, board failures, calibration issues, software installation problems and system configuration. Support is delivered through WhatsApp, email or a scheduled remote session, depending on the complexity of the case. For hospitals and service companies that need ongoing coverage, we offer arrangements that give your biomedical team priority access to our engineers whenever a critical system goes down.

Are your licenses and software OEM-authorised and legitimate?

We operate as a technical service provider and supply software, licenses and activation solutions in line with the requirements of the platforms we support. Every request is reviewed individually, and our team advises you on the correct and appropriate route for your specific system and jurisdiction. If a request falls outside what we can legitimately support, we tell you clearly rather than proceed. Hospitals and service companies rely on us precisely because we are transparent about what is and is not possible.

What information do you need before quoting my request?

To provide an accurate quotation we need four details: the manufacturer and exact system model, the serial number, the currently installed software or firmware version, and a clear description of the option, license or problem you are dealing with. Photographs of the system label or a screenshot of the service screen are extremely helpful. With this information our engineers can confirm compatibility immediately and give you a firm price and delivery estimate instead of a rough guess.

Do you support hospitals and biomedical service companies outside Yemen?

Yes. Although we are based in Yemen, we work with hospitals, diagnostic centres, independent service organisations and biomedical engineers across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Software licenses and activation keys are delivered electronically, and remote support sessions are scheduled to accommodate your time zone. Communication is available in both Arabic and English, so language is never a barrier to resolving a technical issue.

What is your policy if a license does not work as expected?

If a delivered license or activation does not function on the intended system, contact us immediately with details of the error and the steps already attempted. Our engineers will work with you to diagnose the cause, which is most often a mismatch in software version or hardware identifier. Where the issue originates from our side, we correct or replace the delivery at no additional cost. Our priority is a working system, not a closed ticket.

How can I contact your technical team?

You can reach us by phone or WhatsApp at +967 775 455 559, by email at support@bmeser.com, or through the contact form on our website. WhatsApp is generally the fastest route for urgent technical issues, as it allows you to send photographs of error screens and system labels directly to the engineer handling your case. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one business day.
